May 17, 2012 A five-minute city bus chase angered a Marquette University student Thursday in downtown Milwaukee. Casby Bias, a journalism major in the Diederich College of Communication, said that people shouldn't trust public transportation. The bus driver may drive past its required stop: even if people clearly stand by the bus sign. Bias ran after one city bus shouting, "Freakin' bus, stop." She said two blocks of running caused her to get tired. "Don't judge me," Bias said. Bias then boarded another city bus that followed a block behind. That bus’s driver even tried helping her out. "The bus driver honked a lot at that other bus," Bias said. "I thought the bus slowed down, so I naïvely got off." But the bus she tried getting on continued onward: Bias stopped running and looked for a bus ride home instead. "I hate the bus," Bias said.
