By Casby Bias Jul. 5, 2012 A college student returned a phone call from a retail store in one mall Thursday. But the call included a surprise job interview that she didn't prepare for. Lynn B., a journalism major at Diederich College of Communication, said a part-time job at this point would help her pay off future expenses for school. But she forgot her basic answers to questions, such as why she wanted a job in retail, because she worked for years at paying and non-retail internships. "I did not see that booby-trap coming," B. said. "What is a professional way of saying, 'I need some money?" But B. pulled through with the questioning. She said the manager promised an update on the hiring in a few weeks. "I don't have a few weeks," B. said. "Time for more job-searching."
