May 6, 2012 Marquette University families watched as a student carried a beer-can action figure Sunday out of Schroeder Hall. The Keystone Light beer figure represented a drink that students not over the age of 21 couldn't legally consume. But the female felt comfortable publicly transporting the item out of the building during dorm-move-out week. Parents, who usually condemn drinking from their children, smiled and laughed at the event. But Casby Bias, a sophomore journalism major at the Diederich College of Communication, said the parents didn’t respond correctly. “All the parents did was smile toward the girl,” she said. “I don’t know why, but it was so inappropriate.”
