A college student wondered Friday if a book she planned on publishing one day would be considered appropriate.
The student said that her personal writing suprised and embarrassed local family and friends in the past.
"My late grandpa once asked if he could read my family-reunion journal," Bias said. "His eyes nearly bulged out."
She said that she worried about similar reactions from readers: even if it may rid of her present "shy girl" image.
"I don’t want to have a lack of support all because of my true feelings about issues and people," Bias said.
